London College of Communication
Ben was appointed an Associate Lecturer at LCC in August, 2017, joining the pool of tutors who run journalism courses at the college. He is also working on a host of Short Courses at LCC. Ben has been commissioned to build out the content framework for Digital Journalism, a five-day course encompassing the modern digital landscape scheduled to run across 2018. He is undertaking a raft of other media projects, including a course aimed at pre-university teenagers and 2018’s Summer School with international students.
University of Westminster
Ben approached the University of Westminster in 2009 to establish a relationship with the journalism department and develop his profile as an educator. He has been employed on multiple occasions since, acting as a Visiting Lecturer on the journalism degree course during term-time and international candidates as summer school co-leader, hosting sessions, leading presentations and running workshops. In 2017, he co-led the London: Capital of Culture journalism module, focussing on iconic British music culture with overseas students.
